ILF Neurofeedback Certification
5-Day Intensive: Infralow Frequency Neurofeedback
Deeply anchored in neuroscience — optimized for clinicians dedicated to helping clients reconnect with their reflective, agentive, and embodied selves
This hands-on professional training integrates advanced neurofeedback science with trauma-informed clinical practice. Over five immersive days, you’ll learn how infra-low-frequency (ILF) neurofeedback reshapes brain networks, such as the Default Mode Network (DMN)— a foundational network for self-referential processing, self-continuity, and authentic identity.
This course equips you with the foundational skills to confidently implement ILF neurofeedback in your practice and help clients move beyond maladaptive survival strategies into true self-regulation, neural coherence, and embodied agency.
Who This Training Is For
Clinicians, *coaches, mental health professionals, and trauma practitioners with a graduate-level degree in a regulated mental-health field who want to:
✨ Add cutting-edge neurofeedback to their trauma-informed toolkit
✨ Understand how brain networks like the DMN relate to identity and self-experience
✨ Help clients stuck in chronic dysregulation cultivate stability and authenticity
This course meets professional training standards for ILF neurofeedback and is immediately clinically applicable.
*Any unlicensed practitioners must work under the license of a registered mental health provider, and must email hello@healpsychotherapy.ca with the license number.

🧩 What You’ll Learn
By the end of the week, you’ll be able to:
✔ Confidently operate ILF neurofeedback hardware, software, and how to choose a protocol
✔ Identify and train dysregulated neural rhythms associated with arousal, self-reference, and regulation
✔ Understand how infralow training influences the Default Mode Network and self-modeling
✔ Create and adapt individualized protocols based on symptom profiles
✔ Integrate neurofeedback with psychotherapy to enhance therapeutic depth
🧠 Why ILF Matters for Sense of Self
Infra-low frequency neurofeedback trains the brain’s ultra-slow regulatory rhythms (often <0.1 Hz), which correlate with very basic levels of neural self-organization. These rhythms are deeply connected with the Default Mode Network (DMN) — a brain network involved in self-referential thinking, autobiographical memory, and internal identity continuity. By stabilizing ILF activity, we support:
🌟 Improved self-regulation
🌟 Reduced chronic hyper-/hypo-arousal
🌟 Greater access to authentic identity
🌟 Enhanced responsiveness to psychotherapeutic work
This is brain training — not just symptom management — and it helps clients reconnect with who they really are.
