Neurottachment™ is a 5-day Certification Program for trauma-informed coaches, therapists, yoga instructors, and other trauma-informed facilitators who offer group programs. If you are looking to take your group programs to the next level, this research-based, neuroscience-informed program is for you!

Neurottachment™ is designed to heal trauma on a collective level to rewire the capacity for connection to the authentic self, then authentically to others, and to experience safe and supportive attachment as a collective group.

The course is taught virtually by trauma psychotherapist and doctoral candidate, Lucie Ritchie, RP.

Please email Lucie directly at hello@healpsychotherapy.ca to learn more and to reserve your spot. Next intake: January 2026 precise dates to be announced shortly).

Neurottachment™

Regulating the Default Mode Network and Sensorimotor Networks Through Collective Healing

Most trauma survivors don’t just feel disconnected from others; they feel disconnected from themselves. Neuroscience shows us why: prolonged childhood trauma reshapes the default mode network (DMN), the part of the brain that generates our sense of self. When abuse or neglect hijacks development, the DMN (who we are) is trained to light up with threat centres in the brain regularly. And because what fires together wires together, our sense of self becomes locked into survival networks. Feeling risk becomes an unconscious goal to access our sense of self, causing serious misalignment and trauma reenactments, and much more! Come learn what happens in the brain and nervous system with doctoral candidate and trauma psychotherapist, Lucie Ritchie!

Neurottachment™ was born from this reality. It’s a collective, deep-brain-infused floor yoga practice designed to re-regulate the DMN and process somatic trauma energy as a collective.

Borrowing principles from Sahaja Yoga, Neuroscience, Trauma Theory, and Sensorimotor Therapy, Neurottachment works “lower and deeper” in the brain: grounding in the brainstem, activating right-hemisphere processing, and engaging the body’s subtle sensory systems, together! Through intentional movement, interoception, and neuroceptive awareness, participants access the very levels where trauma is stored.

But Neurottachment™ is not just about individual healing; it’s about community co-regulation. Survivors rebuild their sense of self by being safely witnessed and mirrored. The group becomes a living antidote to the loneliness that trauma wires into the nervous system.

I’m inviting trauma-informed coaches, trauma-informed yoga instructors, therapists, and facilitators to join me in bringing this work to the world. By learning the Neurottachment™ framework, you can teach it within your own groups, helping more survivors process trauma through deep interoception, neuroception, and authentic human connection.

This isn’t another trendy wellness practice. It’s a research-backed, neuroscience-informed movement—a way to restore the self where it was once fractured, to shift the brain’s baseline from fear to safety, and to weave survivors back into the fabric of neurological and spiritual attachment.

If you’re ready to be part of this next evolution in trauma healing, email us at: hello@healpsychotherapy.ca to be part of our next cohort (January 2026).  Together, we can create spaces where the brain remembers what it means to feel safe, seen, and whole.
